EHDI began with a couple of seminal conversations around our studio table with Tia Flores (Sierra Arts), Kat Gali (tourism Tonopah), Susanne Reese (Californina Trail Center) and Rebecca Snetselaar (retired, Nevada Arts Council). These powerful women in the arts reflected our vision of direct interaction with the high desert landscape back to us and said...'DO IT! Make an art, history and science non-profit in the rural high desert in Esmeralda County!" With our dear friend Joan Paye (Art Barn) we solidified the concept of Belief Circles: Surrounding ourselves with people who believe in our creative hearts and know to thier core we can do what ever we set our minds to.
